The United States has warned Pakistani over the numerous safe havens it provides militants allied to the Taliban group, intelligence shows.
US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in Kabul Thursday said the US is weary of Pakistan support to Afghanistan militants.
Panetta insists the US is reaching the limits of patience with its long time ally on war on terror, Pakistani whose involvement in destabilizing US led NATO efforts to pacify Afghanistan has been confirmed.
CIA has continued gathering intelligence on Pakistani support to militancy in Afghanistan and various scenarios prove Pakistani willing provides safe havens for Taliban and its affiliates.
The warning by US is very serious; could signal the end of the intelligence and military cooperation between the two countries. It also points to a new post-Afghanistan conflict zone with Pakistani regions where militants have havens being a target of US-NATO airstrikes.
