Police killed a man wearing a private security company uniform who had stabbed 8 people at a mall in Minnesota, U.S.
According to media reports, the out of eight who were stabbed, seven victims have been treated and released while one remains in the hospital.
St. Cloud Police Chief William Anderson said there was no evidence that the attack Saturday night was an act of terrorism.
Daesh terrorist group has been encouraging their fighters to conduct the so-called lone wolf attacks targeting U.S. and Europe countries in general.
It cannot be completely refuted that the slain man was not affiliated to terrorist group as the suspect reportedly asked at least one person if he or she were Muslim before the attack, according to witnesses quoted in the media.
After the attack, Daesh-run news agency, Rasd, reported Sunday that the terror group was taking responsibility for the attack, calling the perpetrator its "soldier".
