
by members of the Kenya Air ForceFriday 26th August 2016, Tokyo International Conference of Africa's Development (TICAD) kicks off at KICC, Nairobi Kenya.
This is the first time that TICAD summit is being held outside Japan and Kenya is honored to host the conference with more than 35 head of states are expected to attend.
To grace the conference, Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived in the country Thursday evening accompanied by foreign minister Fumio Kishida.
Friday, Japan’s PM Shinzo Abe arrived at State House, Nairobi where he was welcomed with a 21 gun salute.
The two are expected to sign bilateral agreements on investments. Abe will attend TICAD conference on Saturday and Sunday.
Abe arrived into the country on Thursday evening to attend the Japan's African development conference (TICAD) on Saturday and Sunday.
TICAD is expected to inject at least Sh25 billion into economy according to Nairobi Governor, Evans Kidero.
