Coast regional coordinator Nelson Marwa has directed police to hunt them down where they are and bring them to justice.
Marwa in an audio said the gang has resulted into sexually assaulting women after robbing them saying the law will catch up with them.
Marwa is known for taming criminals at the coastal region of Mombasa ordered the county commissioner Mohammed Maalim and security agencies to immediately launch manhunt of the criminal gang members terrorizing residents and apprehend them.
Kisauni local residents say the Wakali Kwanza gangsters attacks people and hijacks matatus, not only at night but sometimes even during the day.
"They walk in groups of about 10-15 members, wielding knives and pangas," a resident added.
