Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Monday 6th June 2016 said that his country is ready to receive its people in Dadaab refugee camp.
The President said the return of the refugees is an indication that Somalia is progressing.
President Hassan made the remarks when he paid an impromptu visit at Hilac Primary School in Ifo Refugee camp.
He thanked the Kenyan government for its hospitality saying Kenya unconditionally offered a brotherly shoulder for 25 years despite many challenges, financial and security challenges in the camp.
The President welcomed the repatriation process which Kenyan government has stressed it will be carried in a humane manner.
Kenya is home to more than 600,000 refugees with Dadaab hosting nearly half a million refugees especially from Somalia.
