Latest report from Somali indicates that a high delegation from the UN Security Council has arrived in Somali’s capital Mogadishu, Thursday 19th May 2016.
Corresponding OSINT reports say government leaders arrived earlier at Aden Adde International airport in Mogadishu to welcome the visiting UN Security Council delegation.
Security at the seaside town of Mogadishu has been scaled-up by Special Forces drawn from Somali National Army and AMISOM troops ahead of UN Security Council (UNSC) delegation’s arrival.
UNSC official expected to hold talks with Somali government leaders, regional States Presidents and members of the parliament.
Talks expected to touch on the preparedness of the upcoming election, ways to end the election dreadlock as well security set in place ahead of the election.
