Friday 13th May 2016, an airstrike hit a Nusra Front meeting in northwestern Syria killing 16 high value members of the Al Qaeda affiliated terrorists group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Friday
According to the Observatory Director Rami Abdulrahman, it’s not clear if the air strike which targeted the disused Abu al-Duhour air base had been carried by the U.S.-led coalition or Russia which both mounted strikes against the Al Qaeda official branch in Syria.
However, the air base had been heavily bombed in the attack.
