Military reports from Somalia indicate that Kenyan fighter jets have pounded on an Al-Shabaab camp outside Sindigow village, Jubba region of southern Somalia.
The Kenyan jets struck a training camp for the Al-Shabaab militants in southern Somalia is the latest in a series of aerial campaigns conducted in the region since the El-Adde attack on January 15.
According to Jubbaland authorities KDF which is fighting the Al Qaeda branch in Somalia under the banner of African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) completely decimated the militant’s camp.
Jubbaland state army commander in the region confirmed that the Kenyan airstrikes completely destroyed the camp. None of the Al-Shabaab fighters in the camp survived.
Separately KDF has killed over 40 Al-Shabaab militants in Somalia in only the past two days.
