29th January 2016, Latest military reports from Iraq indicate its government forces have inflicted more losses on Daesh militants in their latest clean-up operations.
Iraqi ground forces backed by military aircrafts launched successful clean operations against Daesh terrorist group in several parts of the Arab country leaving the Takfiri militants with heavy blows.
Thursday 28th January 2016 evening, tens of Daesh militants were killed when Iraqi fighter jets bombarded with precision against terrorists hideouts in Albu Dhiyab district, which lies north of Anbar’s recently-liberated capital city of Ramadi.
In another separate operation, fighters from Popular Mobilization Units supported by army soldiers and military warplanes, raided Daesh targets southeast of the town of Tharthar located some 120 kilometers (some 75 miles) north of the capital, Baghdad, killing more than 60 terrorists.
Another 24 Daesh militants were killed on Thursday 28th January 2016 in an operation in the city of Husaybah located 7 kilometers (4.5 miles) east of Ramadi. Iraqi Federal Police Forces Commander Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat confirmed the operation was a success.
Northern and western parts of Iraq have been plagued by gruesome violence since Daesh Takfiri terrorists launched offensive in June 2014 taking control of part of Iraqi territory.
Daesh Takfiris militants have been committing brutal crimes against all ethnic and religious communities in Iraq, including Sunnis, Shias, Christian and Kurds.
