Event Highlight:
27th January 2016: Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, Somalia’s Hassan Sheikh Mohammud are set to join Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta at the Moi Barracks in Eldoret for a memorial service and prayers for the fallen soldiers of the El-Adde attack in Somalia.
The interdenominational prayers will be held in Eldoret from where most of the fallen heroes served under the 9th Kenya Rifles Battalion.

Pending the African Union Summit in Ethiopia, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and Somalia’s Hassan Sheikh Mohammud are expected to join their Kenyan counterpart in a memorial and prayer service for the soldiers that perished in the El- Adde attack.
Buhari is on a two-day official state visit to Kenya as he head out to attend the AU Summit in Addis Ababa.
African heads of state have sent their condolence and support some individual and overall through the African Union which has pledged an additional 2000 troops in AMISOM to help fight the al Shabaab insurgency in Somalia.
