OSINT SUMMARY
6th January 2016, Somali National Army soldiers clashed with Al Shabaab militant near Burhakabo town in Bay region.
According to government official Ali Hassan Abdi in charge of Burhakabo District the government troops raided an Al Shabaab base at Jameco located in the locality of Burhakabo.
Several militant were killed in heavy gun battle while scores fled wounded.
Bay region though several security operations having been conducted still harbours elements of Al Shabaab militants.
After SNA clash with the militants, normalcy has since returned at Jameco village.
