Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on Friday 4th September after officially launching the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok suggested the formation of an international coalition against violent extremism.
The forum brings together foreign dignitaries and major Asian-Pacific companies’ representatives that discuss economic development and investment prospects of the Asia and the Pacific countries.
Putin said that countries like Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia Russia and the United States of America among others should seriously consider the formation of an international coalition that will help combat extremism and the aftermath it creates.
The talks were underway and he encouraged all present members to support the initiative as it would combat the current crisis being experienced in the Middle East and the refugee influx into Europe presumably safe countries.
Such an international coalition would see members cooperate in a bid to combat the rampantly spreading extremism especially among the youth and recruitment into the global terror networks. In the event it is established the terror network source of new recruits both professionals and footmen will be paralyzed and thus their agenda leading to their defeat.
