10 members of the Nigeria based Boko Haram Takfiri militants were executed by Chad after they were found guilty of involvement in a series of deadly bomb attacks in Chad’s capital N’Djamena.
According to credible OSINT source to AFP, the militants were executed on Saturday 29th August 2015 by firing squad the capital city.
“They were executed Saturday morning on a shooting ground north of N’Djamena,” the sources said.
The Takfiri militants were sentences to death for crimes they have orchestrated involving murder and use of suicide explosives.
According to the source, some if the executed included the notorious regional Boko Haram commanders who had a hand in planning of the deadly Chadian capital bombing.

The execution came after a series of deadly bomb attacks in N’Djamena claimed dozens of lives in June and July.
ASSESSMENT
Boko Haram is a notorious terrorist group wrecking havoc in Nigeria and now the group has extended it campaigns in Chad, Niger and in Cameroon.
The group has committed a series of attacks as wells as engaging in kidnappings.
In Chad, the group is responsible for the twin bomb attack at a police academy and the city’s main police station that claimed the lives on nearly 40 people on June 15, 2015.
On July 11, 2015 the group hurled hand grenades on a busy market outside the city’s main market that killed more than a dozen people.
Boko Haram pledged allegiance to the Islamic State Takfiri militant group which operates largely in Syria and Iraq.
In Nigeria the militant group which also has adopted the name ‘western province’ has intensified it campaigns of terror since President Mohammadu Buhari took over power on May 29, 2015. Boko Haram says its main objective is to overthrow the Nigerian government.
SUMMARY
Chad has been on the forefront against the war against Boko Haram and has also been a major ally to Nigeria. Chad military has engaged Boko Haram whose leader publicly threatened the Chadian president with retaliatory attacks.
The terror threats have prompted Chadian President Idriss Deby to take a bold step and introduce a series of tough new anti-terror laws.
Chad is a leading country in a regional 8,700-strong military task force fighting the militant group.
In February, four nations of the Lake Chad Basin namely Chad, Nigeria, Cameroon and Niger launched an intensive campaigns backed with a contingent from Benin, in confronting the threat posed by Boko Haram militants in the region.
