The involvement of Turkey in the fight against Islamic State which has been greatly viewed and accused of being IS-tolerant connotes the global commitment of fighting any and all terror outfits. The message from the Foreign Minister also echoed the seriousness of the commitment by Turkey to fight the Islamic State.
Additionally, the strategic geographical position of Turkey was used as an advantage by IS to bring in their recruits in the past. Turkey’s involvement in the US-led coalition efforts cuts short the recruit supply for the IS creating a logistic crisis for the Takfiri.
