Recent operations by the Syrian army have led to the success of the army flushing out terrorists from their major hideouts.
Heavily armed soldiers attacked ISIL hideouts in the al-Habra al-Gharbieh village in Homs’ eastern countryside, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their armored vehicles.
Syrian air force also carried out airstrikes against several ISIL hideouts killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition.
Over 230,000 people have so far died in the militant war that accrued to ISIL terrorists since 2011. Reliable OSINT reports however indicate the twist of events as the Syrian army paralyses the terrorist efforts.
ISIL militants have a backing of the military of ISIL. There are more than 200,000 fighters in the military of ISIL. The number grew significantly in 2014 as western sympathizers crossed over to Iraq and Syria to join the terrorist group.
With anti-radicalization campaigns and intelligence efforts, this number has dropped significantly. The situation has been worsened on the part of ISIL as the militants continue to lose several attacks to the government military.
