Police on Wednesday arrested Giselle Diwag Esteban who they confirmed as the prime suspect in the murder of nursing student Michelle Le.
Diwag Esteban is in police custody and has not been cooperating with us since her arrest on Wednesday, a police spokesperson told reporters.
Michelle Le has never been found since her disappearance mid this year.
According to investigators, traces of Michelle Le blood were found in the SUV Michelle Le went to get something from.
Michelle’s blood was also found in Giselle Diwag Esteban shoes.
This directly implicates Diwag Estaban in the murder of Le, a nursing student found dead after leaving a San Francisco Bay area hospital.
Michelle Le was doing a clinical rotations in the San Francisco Bay area hospital.
She told friends she was leaving for the SUV but never returned. The SUV was found some blocks away.
Diwag Esteban was a close friend of Michelle but she told a news company that she hate Michelle Le since she was friends with her daughters father.
