A US Drone has fired four missiles into North Waziristan in Pakistani killing 20 militants. North Waziristan is a major Al Qaeda and Taliban sanctuary.
Twenty insurgents were killed in the missile attack early Tuesday in Bangi Dar village of North Waziristan
Militants walking to their camps were killed when the missiles struck a truck and a fortress killing many of them and injuring many others.
According to Pakistani Intelligence the drone attack strategically targeted a compound used by the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Waziristan.
A fortress-like compound housing militants was blown by the missiles while a vehicle was blown into pieces in Ghulam Khan village between Afghan and Pakistani.
The US military is heavily relying on unofficial unmanned aircraft attacks on Muslin extremists, Taliban and Al-Qaeda to neutralize the Taliban threat and insurgency in Afghanistan.
