Kenya is once again on high alert over Al Shabaab’s plan to smuggle suitcase-like bombs into Kenya.
Musdaf Ismail Hashi has been cited as the gang’s agent who has been sent to deliver these bombs to unknown individual within the country.
Security agents working together with police are calling on Kenyans to be more vigilant while handling luggage since Al Shabaab have just evolved their way of operation.
The man who is believed to be carrying out orders from a new leadership system within the Al Shabaab structure has previously been arrested with explosives which were being transported into Kenya from Somalia.

Intelligence has shown that Al Shabaab group is planning to retaliate on Kenya following their lost battle to Kenya Defence Forces in Somalia.
The group also swore to revenge over the death of their slain leader, Adan Garar who was killed in the March drone attack in Somalia.
Musdaf Ismail Hashi is believed to have escaped from a bus search conducted by Kenya Police on its way to Mandera and is now being used to dispatch these bombs in Nairobi.
Intelligence has also indicated that the Al Shabaab’s plans is a game of revenge. Therefore, Kenyan forces should not relent in war against Al Shabaab who have indicated signs of losing battle to Kenyan military.
