
Taliban militant group continue to suffer a heavy blow after nearly 200 of its fighters surrendered to the government in barely a week.
NATO-led coalition troops offensives in Afghanistan’s province of Nangarhar raided Taliban’s hideouts overnight killing seven armed militants.
According to a statement by a provincial government source, the unmanned planes of the allied forces hit two militants’ hideouts in Rahmati and Marsingay areas of Lal Puri district on Thursday night, killing seven armed militants and wounding two others.
The air assaults also destroyed one technical vehicle, a motorcycle, weapons and ammunition, according to the statement, no civilian was harmed as a result of the attack.
The Taliban terrorist group is yet to make comments.
