Thursday October 22nd 2015; 5 Boko Haram suspects were arraigned in court in Abuja over the October 2 Bombings in Abuja that killed 18 people leaving 41 seriously injured.
The 5 were remanded back to custody following their suspected membership into the Boko Haram that claimed responsibility of the Nyanya and Kuje town bombings earlier in October.

An Abuja court on Thursday October 22nd remanded back to custody o5 suspects in relation to the October 2nd Boko Haram-claimed bomb in Nyanya and Kuje town that killed 18 people and injured over 41 others seriously.
The accused are aged between 26 and 34 fitting the bid of most Boko Haram fighters in Nigeria andwere charged with conspiracy and acts of terrorism. They all pleaded not guilty to but one who admitted possession of material to build IEDs.
According to the prosecution, upon their arrest several lethal and illegal weapons were recovered among them 27 pieces of detonators, chemicals- Hydrogen peroxide, soldiering wire 12 already built IEDs and fertilizer all bearing the same trademark as those used in the bombings.
The alignment of the suspects in a court of law is in a bid to protect the rights of the prisoners contrary to human right violation accusations leveled against the security agencies in Nigeria.
Nigeria’s Military has vowed to annihilate Boko Haram sooner than expected especially with reinforcement from the US government to the Multi-National Joint Task Force of both personnel and aerial vehicles that will conduct reconnaissance and intelligence gathering.
