Somali National Army (SNA) Detect, Thwart an Al-Shabaab Attack in Goof-gaduud


Somali National Army (SNA), Wednesday 13th July 2016 have detected what would have been a large-scale attack by Al-Shabaab militants in Goof-gaduud environ in Bay region southwest Somalia.

According to breaking report by Somali National News Agency (SONNA), a group of armed militants were intercepted by the national army in Goof-gaduud where they intended to raid a security outpost.

Report also say undisclosed number of militants have been killed, AK 47 rifles recovered.

Security forces reportedly hunting down the militants who have managed to flee.
