Maryland explosions blamed on 2 packages in State Buildings

Two packages have exploded in Maryland state buildings.

Maryland officials have reported that two packages have exploded in two government buildings.

Both buildings are in the state capital and another city

The explosions occurred in Jeffrey Building on Francis Street in downtown Annapolis.

The other explosion was reported at Maryland Department of Transportation building in Hanover.

No one was injured in these unprecedented explosions.

Officials say that 2 packages went off causing mild explosions that were audible from a distance.

Police are investigating the explosions.

Terrorism is not being ruled out in this case

FBI and Homeland security have quickly moved in to investigate the matter.

The areas have been sealed off as experts examine the contents of the explosives
