KDF Conducts Airstrikes in War-Gaduud Area near El Wak Somalia Kill Several Militants

KDF conducted air raids in in War-Gaduud area near El Wak town of Somalia killing several Al-Shabaab militants.

Military Intelligence reports indicate that among those killed included Gedo region Al Shabaab Deputy Commander, Ali Shangalow.

Initial BDA show that KDF air raids destroyed militant’s makeshift camp in the area where the militant group was use as base to plan for attacks. Reports indicate recent past attacks on Kenyan border regions were planned from the bombed camp.

Humiliated Al-Shabaab is yet to release a statement on latest series of defeat by KDF troops.
