Female ISIS Terror Operative among 14 Killed in US Airstrike in Nangarhar, Afghanistan

Latest military reports about the continued onslaught against the extremists indicate that at least fourteen militants (14) affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria Khorasa (ISIS-K) were killed in airstrikes conducted by the US forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

According to the provincial police commandant,  the Monday air sorties were carried out in the vicinity of Achin district, a locality that still harbors ISIS terrorists.

The statement further added that a female operative of the terror group was also among those killed.

The anti-government armed militant groups have not commented regarding the report so far.

Operations led by the Afghan forces in coordination with the US forces based in Afghanistan are against the ISIS loyalists in this province.
