51 ISIL Terrorists Killed’ in Northern Syria

Fifty-one ISIL terrorists were killed and scores injured in the last 24 hours in an operation conducted by Turkish forces in northern Syria.

According to Turkish military sources, the terrorists were neutralized by operation conducted Turkish forces and Free Syrian Fighters.

Turkish forces also have been concentrating on taking the ISIL-held town of Al-Bab, 40 kilometers (25 miles) northeast of Aleppo.

As part of Operation Euphrates Shield, the Turkish army hit 244 ISIL targets, including command facilities, defensive placements, shelters, vehicles and weapons.

Separately Turkish F-16 fighter jets pounded 85 targets, including 10 bomb-laden vehicles, in Al-Bab and the surrounding area over the same period.
