Police on Monday night gunned down two criminal thugs following a botched robbery attempt in Kiamumbi area, Kahawa West, Nairobi.
The two criminals riding a motorbike were attacking and robbing pedestrians and motorists when an alarm was raised.
Police trailed the two thugs and gunned them down as they tried to escape.
Police also recovered stolen valuables from the two and their bodies were taken to the city mortuary.
Kahawa West residents have been complaining of attacks by gunmen on motorbikes hence the police action.
