Kenya police service has questioned the motive of the Al-Jazeera Television Network video, dubbed Al Jazeera Investigates – Inside Kenya’s Death Squads.
Strategic Intelligence Service warned that the Al-Jazeera documentary is a form of psychological and information warfare against Kenya with the intent of demonizing Kenya counter-terrorism efforts.
The film was produced with strategic objectives, one being to expose the NIS Nyati House offices in the Nairobi CBD to terrorists besides passing the rooftop points to Al-Shabaab terrorists.
In the film, the Nyati House Intelligence offices are extensively exposed, particularly the windows, its floors, and the center of gravity line of the structure. “This is a strategic expose, they were simply passing the blueprint and access route to the terrorists“, argues David James, Director of regional intelligence at SIS.
“The exposure is very strategic, The film was a form of psychological attack aimed at making Muslims in Kenya to feel threatened and targeted by Kenyan authorities. The building is overly exposed, For more than half a minute the building and its compound are exposed, what is worse is the crime of filming such a vital government building knowing very well it is of utter sensitive nature. The objective is equally sensitive, Am imagining the scenario where Al-Shabaab terrorists claim to have bombed our own intelligence service building, that can be catastrophic.” Adds David James
Journalists have been often used as couriers and psychological warfare amplifiers and the Kenyan government has literary nothing to use against them, building a case sufficient to prosecute such journalists is important. SIS.
Al-Jazeera Television Network is owned by Qatari businessmen. Qatari business and political elements have been accused of arming and financing Al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia.
Kenya Police Service may launch an investigation on the video and press charges on KTN journalist Mohamed Ali of Jicho Pevu and the Al-Jazeera journalist who sanctioned and paid bribes for the interviews.

Nyati house is where Kenyans who fought for liberation were detained without trial and tortured. Are you telling us that such installations still serve as security installations. Are the cells still operational? As for Alshabab, I think the Kenya government is treating this fellows with kids gloves. They should ape Museveni when dealing with LRA. They should make the entire North Eastern Kenya a camp, round up all the locals and put them in a camp that has 120 metres deep trench, with only two gates manned by KDF. Freeze the accounts of extortionist Alshabab sympathizers in the CBD of Nairobi to feed the population. Close the border with Somalia and militarize the entire region. Ensure no commerce between North Eastern and Somalia, and Shoot to kill anything that moves within 50 Km of the long border. They must decide if they want to win this war or if they intend to negotiate with the terrorists. Some of them sympathizers were allowed to recruite Kenyan Somalis to fight along side Madhobe. The missing 4000 Kenyan somalis must be hunted down and executed in public. That is the only way Somalis know. Why is it that they do not attack Ethiopia, the answer is that Ethiopia deals with them ruthlessly.
