Faragurow, Jiliib- Somalia
Kenya Defense Forces air force jets have carried out surgical air strikes deep inside Somalia on Tuesday.
The air strike was carried out using the air superiority air craft, F-5 Tiger, an upgraded version of the F 5-Tiger.
The fighter aircraft armed with modern weapons, avionics and radar systems has been used throughout operation linda inchi, an operation that helped the defeat of militants in Somalia.
The fighter jet bombed targets at Middle Shabelle region based on intelligence provided by intelligence sources.
Somali based militants Al-Shabaab suffered losses in the attack in Faragurow, a town 3 kilometers west of Jiliib town.Kenya is likely to start military operations to destroy militant camps which have been re-established in the recent past.Intelligence reports show that Al-Shabaab has increased operations and is targeting AMISOM troops in Somalia.The terror group also attacked Kenya police officers inside Kenya in the north eastern region of Mandera.The number of killed militants is not yet confirmed but their vehicles were destroyed after bombs from the air craft blew them up.

I think the kenyan armed forces should take full advantage of this war for target practice. We need to sharpen our boys in a real life stuation and this looks like the best chance we will ever get.
Kenya does not have F-35s
KDF being in somalia is inconsequential. They fight shabab there but in homeland for kes 5,000 a shabab will get an ID card and bring war to vulnerable civilians
