The Islamic State has said it carried out the fatal Texas shooting on Sunday in which two militants of the group were killed.
The Islamist group has gone ahead to threaten “bigger and more bitter” terror strikes against America.

Two of the Islamic State militants, who had opened fire outside an arena in Texas hosting a contest to draw the Prophet Muhammad, were killed in the shooting.
The Sunday contest which attracted around 200 people was organized by the New York-based American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) to promote freedom of expression.
The contest, which triggered outrage among some parts of the Muslim community, was to give an award for the best cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
The jihadist group also released an audio statement on Tuesday in connection to the Texas shooting, saying that the two gunmen killed in the shooting were “soldiers of the caliphate.”
The two gunmen were killed by the police before they could enter the venue.
A section of the US media outlets identified the gunmen as 31-year-old Elton Simpson and 34-year-old Nadir Soofi, who had reportedly shared an apartment in Arizona.
It is however not confirmed whether or not the Islamic State is responsible for the Texas shooting but if it is confirmed to be the case, it would be the first Islamic State attack on America.
American authorities confirmed that no one was hurt in the Texas shooting apart from the two gunmen.
