Leader of Yemen Houthi fighters has vowed not to back down in fighting the Yemen government despite the war-torn country experiencing a total nose dive in its economic stability, population and inter-country relations.
Yemen was last week hit hard after the Yemeni al-Qaeda branch captured major airport, sea port and oil terminal.
The leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has further vowed not to surrender captured government institutions and main cities despite the airstrikes which have killed a number of these rebels in Yemen.
The airstrikes which were aimed at weakening the Houthis from Sanaa and other cities may continue to be seen in Yemen despite President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi’s claims that he is in control of Yemen.
Close to 1000 people have so far been killed in the war in Yemen since the airstrikes began in March 2015 in the Operation Decisive Storm.
So far, the Saudi-led airstrikes in Yemen has launched 2,300 airstrikes since the inception of the operation.
The war in Yemen has led to several people fleeing from the country. The number of refugees who have now settled in neighboring countries has thus increased. The United Nations on the other hand has condemned countries in the West for failing to stop the wars, which they believe is possible.
