Jihadists have begun circulating a manual on Twitter providing instructions on how to recover followers after being suspended.
This follows the impulsive decision that was taken by Tweeter to suspend all accounts that were detected for terrorist-like content, an operation that led to closure of hundreds of accounts that belonged to jihadists.
At least 100 twitter accounts that were blocked were used to promote propaganda and thus posed great security threats. Jihadists always posted videos of beheadings with an aim to create fear among target countries.
The accounts were also instrumental in attracting more recruits into terrorism in the name of jihadists and therefore, suspension of the accounts dealt the heaviest blow to the insurgent group who immediately issued death threats against twitter employees, including co-founder Jack Dorsey over the blocked accounts.
Far from threats, the radical group is now up in arms to salvage their online space, tweeter swarming to create imaginary immense followership, creating their own sympathizers in false hope to gain their lost hold of online readership.
