Police in Kenya have arrested the third suspect in the twin blasts in Mombasa that killed several people outside a bus terminus in the coastal tourist resort city CBD.
The man only known as Hemedi is of Kenyan origin and is suspected to be the third mastermind of the terror attack that left many injured after a Chania bus company bus was blown up using improvised explosive devices on a Saturday evening.
Hemedi terrorism involvement was confirmed after eyewitnesses claimed to have seen him drop a bag that contained explosives outside the Nyali Reef Hotel.
The bag exploded outside the tourist hotel but no one was injured in the explosion.
The second explosion happened in the CBD leaving 23 injured and several others dead.
Two other suspects arrested by police on May 8th are Mohamed Osman a man of Canadian national and Abdullahi Saleh Saleh, a Kenyan national.
