Pakistan announced the production of a new version of a combat aircraft. The air craft was revealed at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in Kamra.
The Block-II JF-17 combat aircraft features modern avionics and upgraded weapons systems.

Pakistan Aeronautical Complex west of the capital Islamabad has started the design and production procedure to start production of the Block-II JF-17.
The complex has 50 older models of the Block-I JF-17s for the Pakistani air force which uses the fighters.
During a ceremony at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, the complex handed over the 50th locally produced Block-I JF-17 Thunder aircraft to the Pakistani air force.
The 18 December 2013 ceremony was presided over by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The JF-17 Thunder combat aircraft is co-developed and co-produced with the China National Aero-technology Import and Export Corporation.
The partnership is meant to strengthen ties and defense programs between the two countries.
According to chief project director Air Vice Marshal Javaid Ahmad, the first Block-II JF-17 will completed and tested by June 2014.
