
More than 46 terrorists were killed by an Egyptian airstrike in the restive Sinai Peninsula on Sunday according to local security source.
The jet fighters conducted aerial assaults destroying an ammunition depot in North Sinai’s city of Rafah.
A report by Anadolu News Agency says at least 46 terrorists were killed in the air bombardments including two senior members of the Daesh affiliated “Welayet Sinai” (Province of Sinai) group.
Corresponding military report indicate that the two slain senior militants killed alongside other fighters were identified as Sami Shuaib and Mohammed Zeygan.
There was no comment from Welayet Sinai on the airstrikes.
