Saudi Arabia on Tuesday 15th December announced that 34 nations had agreed to form an ‘Islamic Military Alliance’ aimed at fighting terrorism with its joint operations centered in Riyadh, Saudi’s capital.
The Saudi-led collaboration is aimed at putting up a united front to fight terrorism by all means necessary in line with the Muslim doctrines of; zero corruption and destruction of the world which terrorism gravely violates.

The counterterrorism collaboration draws membership from large and amply established militaries like Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt as well as countries battling terrorism like Libya and Yemen. Notably absent of the coalition is Iran, Oman, Iraq and Syria.
Most Muslim states in the Middle East have been battling terrorism individually and a coalition that pools the resources; technical, military and financial gives them a better chance of eliminating terrorism and maintain peace and security in the region.
