103 Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis Terrorists Killed and 17 Army Troops Die in Sinai Egypt

Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis terror group conducted terror attacks against Egyptian military checkpoints after killing Egypt’s top prosecutor using a car bomb attack in Cairo on Monday.

Egypt’s armed forces General command reports that it conducted a counter-strike on the terror group Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis in Egypt’s northern Sinai Peninsula.

In the counter-terrorism operation 17 soldiers were killed and 103 terrorists were neutralized during a counter-strike Wednesday 1st of July 2015.

The Egyptian army conducted operations against the Sinai based terror group Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis.

The threat of Islamic militancy in Egypt is at an all time high since the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak.

Terror groups in Egypt are offshoots of radical Islamists and political groups that were allied to ousted President Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood.
