Sheikh Makaburi Was a Terrorist: Harakat al- Shabaab al-Mujahideen Movement Al-Qaeda’s branch in Somalia Reports

Makaburi_Sheikh

Summary; 20th July 2015, A progeny of the Harakat al- Shabaab al-Mujahideen Movement Al-Qaeda’s branch in Somalia published and distributed online a propaganda magazine.

Analysts from Strategic Intelligence Service identified and decoded the malware ridden virtual document and retrieved troves of invaluable wealth of information about terror mastermind and leader Cleric Sheikh Abubakar Shariff Ahmed, alias Makaburi (which means “graveyard” in Swahili

Analysis

Makaburi, was involved in radicalization of youths in Mombasa Kenya and Tanga in Tanzania. The Cleric according to intelligence reports was the spiritual leader for the Harakat al- Shabaab al-Mujahideen Movement proxy in Kenya MYC.

Both media and Makaburi denied his association with terrorists. He planned and authorized attacks on churches. Intelligence reports confirmed that  Cleric Sheikh Abubakar Shariff Ahmed was behind the terror attack targeting worshipers inside the Joy Repentance 7 Holiness Church in Likoni, Mombasa County of Kenya.

The UN and the USA FBI listed the cleric on terror watchlist besides freezing his assets in 2012. According to the notice, Sheikh Abubakar Shariff Ahmed Makaburi was profiled as a leading facilitator and recruiter of young Kenyan Muslims for violent militant activity in Somalia..

The Publication by the Harakat al- Shabaab al-Mujahideen Movement Al-Qaeda’s branch in Somalia proxy provides insight about how Makaburi was a merchant of death and terrorism.

Wanted terrorist Sheikh Abdalla confess working closely with Makaburi to orchestrate terror activities besides recruiting and shepherding young men into the criminal and violent cause.

Outcomes

Sheikh Abubakar Shariff Ahmed Makaburi was gunned down in April 2014 by a unidentified gunman.

The publications by the jihadists support the intelligence reports about the criminal activities of Sheikh Abubakar Shariff Ahmed Makaburi and his associates.

While Jihadists panache for propaganda is insatiable, intelligence services continue to pursue versatile strategies to stymie a global surge in Jihadists ideology that threatens to destroy the Middle East besides ignite religious intolerance across the world.

Dude, sorry but that is islamophobia. There are people who use religion as a tool to meet their own ends, while others mis-interpret it and draw divergent views contrary to the meanings &beliefs accepted for centuries. In essence, these according to reputable Islamic scholars are ‘cultists” who also execute fellow Muslims.

Makaburi was a mujahedeen who was fighting imperialism n zionism furthered by USA n Israhell. Any honest believer should take Makaburi n Rogo’s teachings seriously and transform them into actions.
