Russian Deputy Permanent Representative to UN, Peter Ilichev on Tuesday 10th November emphasized the importance stepping up efforts in the war against Al Shabaab by building the ‘potential and capability of Somalia’s security agencies as well as the AMISOM troops.
He cited the current tense situation of Somalia both politically pending the 2016 elections as well the volatile security status that more often than not spills over to her neighbors.
