Military Intelligence reports confirm the killing of more than 30 Al-Shabaab terrorists involved in the Mandera terror attack that claimed the live sof 5 police officers early this week. The same group is responsible for the deaths of Muslims in Mandera including that of Sarah Farah who saved his Christian travelers.
3 Children died after an airstrike by Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) attack helicopters fired missiles at a position Al-Shabaab terrorists were hiding at Elram village, in the border line region of Mandera (Kenya-Somalia border).
The death of the children was collateral damage and Kenya Army (KDF) regrets the incident since it was unintended. The Elram village is a border village and has been often used by the terror group for logistics, besides, to hide weapons, plan, and mount attacks against security officers.
The army was in hot pursuit of the terrorists who had dug in at the village and were fleeing from the military operation.
Intelligence reports show the group often crosses the border to Kenya in pretext of traders. It is led by a Kenyan from Mandera.
