Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta who is the Commander in Chief of Defense Forces expressed solidarity with the country’s disciplined forces (KDF).
The Kenyan troops who have been battling Somalia based Islamist group the Al Shabaab have been accused on a sponsored UN report by Journalists for Justice group of ‘smuggling sugar and charcoal’.
The President who is on tour of Western Kenya launching various development projects rubbished the reports claims terming it as unfortunate and malicious.
The Kenyan forces who entered in Somalia in 2011 when ‘Operation Linda Nchi’ was launched have been known for conducting counter terrorism operation against the Al Qaeda affiliated Al Shabaab effectively while observing highest degree of discipline within AMISOM banner becoming an envy force within the region and beyond.
Kenya Defense Forces have also conducted various peacekeeping missions in several countries in Africa.
The Commander in Chief of KDF warned against trivializing the defense forces work saying it’s their selfless work that keeps the citizen safe as they work in dangerous neighbouring lawless nation.
The Commander in Chief said he was surprised to the extent people can go to tarnish the name of the same soldiers who have sacrificed their lives to protect them.
The head of state said the government will stand with the soldiers in Somalia urging the Kenyan citizenry to fully support the Kenya Defense Forces and other security agencies, saying that is the only way Kenya can be safe.
On behalf of his government, President Kenyatta condemned the cowardly terror attack in France which claimed more than 128 lives when terrorists stormed a cinema hall, football stadium and a restaurant. He said Kenya that has previously suffered the same terrorist fate stands in solidarity with France government and its people during this hard moment.

I stand with kdf
we are seeing the highest level of stupidity by our local journalists when reporting anything about our motherland. If the terror attack that happened in France happened in kenya and God forbid we would be reading different news . our Kenya news would be full of graphic images of killed and injured. We would be seeing seeing soldiers in operation being being criticized how they are not taking cover properly and stuff like that. The opposition on the other hand would be on front line telling the president to resign besides telling our soldiers they are useless because they failed to prevent terrorist s from crossing into Kenya. This how stupid Kenyans are.
