Several people aboard a Kenya army a Harbin Y-12 utility plane are feared dead after the army aircraft crashed in Kenya’s Mandera County.
Intelligence sources confirm that a KDF plane has crashed after take off from Elwak enroute Garissa.
Atleast one person was confirmed dead when the report was relayed.
The Chinese Harbin Y-12 utility plane is a utility helicopter used by the Kenya Defense Forces for deployment of troops.
It has a capacity of 20 troops.
Intelligence reports have not verified if those on-board were civilians or military officers.
