Kenya Defense Forces air assault operations against terror group Al-Shabaab have entered the second day, making the Counter-Terrorism-Operation the longest in the history of Kenya and Africa.
KDF Air Assault Force are still conducting air assault operations Against Somali militant Islamist group Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen.
The operations are targeting the large swathes of border areas 300-km inside Somalia from the Kenyan border.
Targets are strewn along border areas from Mandera down to Lower Juba and along Juba River. Military Intelligence reports.
This is the second day of the airborne operations and the actual battle damage assessments will be provided later.
Kenya started the counter terror attacks after the Garissa Attack that left 147 college children murdered in cold blood by terrorists.
Kenya has vowed to punish the Somali terror group.
