On Thursday June 18, 2015, Al Shabaab claimed responsibility of a terror attack in Beldweyne 30 Ethiopian soldiers and another 16 from the Somali National Army were killed.

The terror group published graphic images of the Ethiopian army causalities on social media through their websites.

The terror group has lost local support and suffered its greatest humiliation after its foreign fighters were killed by Kenya Army early Sunday.

Al Shabaab terror group poses a significant security threat to Somalia and the East African region.

Very sad to lose 30 Ethiopian experienced soldiers n 15 from the Somalia govt in one day by Alshabaab!Let USA&UK govts stop their hypocrsy of giving logistic support to these terrorists then turn and congratulate Kenya on one hand and giving travel warnings to their citzens coming to Kenya when CIA &M16 has already dispatched their trained terrorists in E Africa Coast.call a spade a spade

These imperialists are after toppling regitmate govts who have refused to be their puppets.Look at Libya,Gaddaf declined to be their slave n instead came up with United States of Africa something angered USA&UK badly until they armed Alqaeda terrorists who killed Gaddaf n made Libya a free state for terrorists to behead govt troops n steal oil for USA in that confusion.ISIS were trained by CIA IN Jordan Marine Base to topple Assad of Syria and USA branded them Free Syrian Army who should be aided to overthrow Assad. In Iraq ISIS are termed as terrorists but when they cross into Syria they are called freedom fighters.USA&UK are playing with the world badly

USA trained Alqaeda leader Osama bin Laden with his students(Twaliban) in Arabic language to contain the might USSR elite troops in Afghan soil on behalf of USA until USA shortchanged Osama aftre victory is when things fell apart.Alshabaab is a pure offshoot of Alqaeda n up to date these terrorists get their training manual, financial aid from their creators.thats why it has become hard to eradicate them at once

You know the reason why i ask so is that most of the time they use propaganda to win media on their site and why is that its not in the media? Though let me check on google. What you said is true but am wondering if its true the soldiers were killed.

they killed them.i have information from reliable sources. They were using very poeerful n high caliber weapons definetly from their masters.when in kenya, alshabaab separate muslims from christians b4 executing them but in somalia, they behead muslims.they are doing this to cause religious tension btn HASSAN MOHAMMED &WANDERA DAVID so that i can join them for help to kill my brother Wandera.at the end of the day we will turn kenya into another Libya or Somalia n NATO gets an excuse to step in and continue its imperialism

Any wise and devout Muslim would not attack Ethiopia, seeing that Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) found refuge in Ethiopia when he was fleeing Mecca.. He was advised to get to Ethiopia where he and his followers would find a King who did no man harm.. Islam’s fourth holiest city is in Ethiopia.. These are NWO agents with no doubt!

These are the same ethiopians who want to fight kenya. Their soldiers lack jet fighters and combat helicopters to provide cover to ground troops.

Ethiopians fight tooth and nail. I am surprised they suffered this number of casualties. Last time I checked I saw they have a sizable number of aircrafts both utility and for warfare but I dont thinnk they are allowed to use fighter jets and attack helicopters in Somalia unlike Kenya

@ahmed, kenya intended to win the hearts and minds of somalis in the war. Kenyans even gave food and dug boreholes for somalis. Had we wanted to be in kismayu for a month, we could have. We did not go there for an all out war like ethiopians do.
