Hundreds of Somali based jihadists have been killed in August by The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM)soldiers who back the Somali National Army.
Gunmen belonging to the Salafist jihadists group based in Somalia, the Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen continue to be killed by allied troops seeking to pacify Somalia.
The Shabaab is mourning more than 10 Senior commanders of the terror group.
Most were killed in fighting and operations in different sectors by The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops.
AMISOM has scaled up operations against the rag tag militia and has made significant gains throughout August.
