Warplanes Bombard ISIS Positions in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan, Over Dozen Killed

A series of air bombardments carried out on ISIS positions and hideouts in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan has left over a dozen militants killed.

According to the local security officials, the airstrikes were carried out on Tuesday in the vicinity of Achin and Lalpur districts.

The provincial police commandment released a statement confirming of foreign forces warplanes that carried out airstrikes on ISIS targets, leaving at least 14 militants dead.

The statement further indicated that two airstrikes were conducted separately. The first airstrike was carried out in Pekha area of Achin district which left 9 militants dead and their heavy Dshk machine gun destroyed.

The second airstrike was carried out in Sadi area of Lalpur district where a heavy Dshk machine gun of the terror group was destroyed with at least another five militants being killed.
