US Bombard Al-Shabaab Bases in Fresh Airstrikes, Kill Several in Gaduud, Somalia

The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) issued a statement confirming it bombarded Al-Shabaab bases in Gaduud, Somalia.

US in support of Somalia National Army (SNA) conducted an airstrike on November 13, approximately 4:30pm local Somalia time killing several enemy combatants in their bases in Gaduud region of Somalia.

Separately in other airstrikes, US has killed over eighty (80) Al-Shabaab combatants in Middle and Lower Shabelle region of Somalia.

There have been at least four reported airstrikes targeting the Islamist combatants including the Puntland based Pro-ISIS group in the last one week alone.
