OSINT SUMMARY, April 26, 2016

U.S and coalition allies on Monday 25th April 2016 staged at least 25 strikes in their latest series of assaults against the Islamic State militant’s positions in Iraq and Syria inflicting heavy losses.

In a statement on Tuesday 26th April 2016, the Combined Joint Task Force confirmed that 18 strikes were coordinated with Iraq forces target 10 militant held cities including Fallujah where coalition forces struck two Islamic State tactical units, two brides and destroyed 11 fighting/military training positions.

Other Iraq cities hit in the strikes include Mosul, Kirkuk and Hit.

In Syria, the coalition conducted seven strikes which hit near Manbij and Mar’a striking with precision five tactical units, destroying four fighting/military training positions and three technical vehicles used by the militants.
