Turkish Army Destroy 12 PKK Positions in Northern Iraq

f-16Turkish armed force decimated 12 PKK positions in airstrikes against the terrorist group in northern Iraq, military source said early Monday.

According to an announcement issued by the Turkish General Staff, F-16 war jets conducted the airstrikes in the Avasin-Basyan and Qandil locales on Sunday between 8.01-9.03 pm (17.01-1803GMT).

PKK – is a listed terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU – continued its decades-old furnished crusade in July a year ago.

Since then more than 300 civilians and about 800 security forces have been martyred.

 Around 8,000 PKK terrorists have also been executed or captured in army operations.
