Turkish Armed Forces Hit Nine Daesh Targets in Syria

f-16Turkish Armed Forces reportedly hit nine Daesh targets in Syria as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield.

 According to Turkish military source, raid destroyed four shelters belong to the terrorists and two command and control centers located areas east and west of the city of Al-Bab.

Operation Euphrates Shield began on Aug 24. Tuesday marked the 92st day of the operation aimed at clearing Syria's northern border area of Daesh terrorists.

The operation has seen over 215 residential areas, including more than 1,800 square kilometers (694 square miles) of land in northern Syria, have been cleared of Daesh terrorists so far under the operation.

According to President Recep Erdogan on Tuesday said the operation is proving successful and that Free Syrian Army (FSA) troops have surrounded Al-Bab.
