Turkish Airstrikes Kill 7 PKK Terrorists in Southeast Turkey


Turkish warplanes on Monday 12th September 2016 struck PKK positions in southeastern province of Hakari killing seven PKK terrorists.

According to a statement by the Turkish General Staff, the airstrikes struck three PKK targets in Yuksekova district between 12.30 p.m. and 1.00 p.m. local time (0930 and 1000GMT) completely destroying the targets

Turkish in the past few weeks have intensified air campaigns against PKK positions in Turkey and in the northern Iraqi with hundreds of terrorists reportedly killed in the air sorties.

PKK is a listed terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and by the EU.

Since the campaigns began last year July, over 7,000 PKK terrorists have been terminated.
